It's open enrollment time for health benefits at work, and I was planning on switching from IHC to Aetna so my family and I could have doctors in Price, rather than having to drive 140 miles round-trip for a fucking doctor's appointment. Well, it turns out our parent company has changed from giving us two options to a single option, UnitedHealthcare, which sucks as bad as IHC in that I can't get a doctor in Price, and it costs quite a bit more. As soon as I found out about this change yesterday, I started looking for a new job. I can't afford to have more money taken out of my paycheck, and still have to travel so much for simple immunizations and checkups for my son. Add all this on top of not having a raise in the past 2 years, and I think it's definitely time for a career change.
