This is sort of frustrating--my camera battery and charger are sitting down at the UPS office waiting to be delivered, which probably won't happen until well after noon. I'd like to go pick the package up myself right now, but their customer counter opens ridiculously late, something like 4:30 pm. I'd like to start charging that battery right now so I can take the camera camping.
I wish I still knew somebody who worked at UPS...my dad worked there for almost 20 years (about 1,670,000 miles in a semi) before he died, and I used to know everybody there, but even if any of them still work there, I doubt they'd remember me from way back then. I doubt the truck drivers have the authority to hand over customer's packages anyway.
