I just got back from talking to an attorney regarding the insurance claim with Price City, and he said they have 90 days in which to either accept or deny the claim. So I possibly have five weeks until either I get paid or I can sue them. When I last talked to their insurance company, they said they haven't heard from the adjuster yet, and he was here more than three weeks ago. So if they keep this slowness up, I've got an attorney ready to take them to court.

It was cool sitting in the attorney's office, because he had tens of thousands of dollars worth of books that the company I work for publishes. I'm sure they also use the software I use every day, and they may even have some of the products I've worked on.
