When I take my garbage can out to the curb every week, I leave it just in front of my driveway, far enough ahead of my car (which is always parked at the curb in front of the house) that there's no chance the garbage truck will hit it. I always park my truck in the driveway, but the garbage man comes early enough that I don't go anywhere until after he's gone, and I just put the garbage can back before I leave.

The past two Wednesdays, I forgot to put the garbage can back before I went somewhere, and knocked the fucker out into the street when I was backing out in my truck. Man, I hope nobody saw me do that.
