I tried ripping a tree stump out of my back yard with my truck today, and boy was that a joke. I dug about 2 feet down on one side of the stump and cut all the roots, then yanked from the other direction with a thick tow-rope. All I ended up doing is digging my truck into a hole and toasting my clutch a little. The tree stump didn't budge a millimeter.

I spent most of my day digging and cutting, and it didn't do me a god damn bit of good. I think the next logical step is to use explosives.
